How it Works
We work as a
"broker" for the resale of gowns. We recommend you get in
touch with us as soon as possible when you are interested in a
gown, because we cannot guarantee availability until the sale
has actually been processed. Once you're been in touch
with us, we'll work with you to make sure this is the right
dress for you, and go over measurements and all the details of
the dress with you. Once you're ready to purchase, the
gown is paid for in full, including a $25 shipping fee ($15 for
individual bridesmaid's dresses) to send
the gown to you if you are not in the San Diego area (if you are
local, we highly suggest making an appointment to come in and
try on the gown). The dress will be shipped to you and
will usually arrive within 5-7 business days after the sale is
complete (paying via credit card will expedite shipment to you,
checks may add 7-10 business days to your transaction).
And this is the best part--unlike EBay or other
gown resale operations--through us you have an opportunity to
try on your gown and decide if you like it, and if its not for
you RETURN it to us!* Upon your receipt of the gown, you
have
have a three (3) business day return or “right of refusal”
period where you can inspect the gown, and may within that time
period decide (for any reason) to return the gown for a refund,
minus a 5% restocking fee. Return shipping and insurance
is your responsibility, and you must (1) notify us within three
business days if you intend to return the gown; and (2) have the
gown on its way back to us and provide a tracking number by the
fourth business day. Upon return receipt of the gown, it
will undergo an inspection to verify that the condition is
identical to how it was sent out, and once verified, we will
reimburse you the original cost of the gown, minus your $25
shipping cost and a 5% restocking fee. If we don't hear
from you within the three day period after confirmation of
receipt of your gown by you, your sale is considered complete.
*Return policy not
available for all resale gowns, please check notes on sale, or
contact us for more information on a specific gown.
When looking for your resale gown, please pay
special attention to:
1. Sizing - most used gowns have been
altered in some way, either by taking it in or taking up the
length. Pay special attention to the measurements and ask
any questions before you purchase. All measurements are
done to the best of our ability but are in fact approximate and
may vary slightly. See
Our Size Chart
for more information.
2. Length - be sure the gown you are
interested in is long enough for you, or can be altered to be
the right length for you. If you're not sure, just ask.
3. Color - colors shown in the photographs
may not reflect the actual color of the dress, depending on
lighting conditions and your computer monitor. Be sure to
ask us to clarify the color for you if you're not sure.
4. Condition - We only accept gowns
for resale that are in new, like new or very good
condition. While gown condition is stated in as much
detail as possible, it is possible to miss a small mark or
problem with the gown. Please be sure to ask in advance if
you have a particular question or concern. We will not
waive restocking fees for small omissions that may vary from the
description of the gown, unless we believe the omission is large
enough to greatly effect the value or condition of the gown.
